For First-Time Visitors

We have compiled the questions most frequently asked by first-time visitors to Head Comfort AN.
Please take a look here first to ease any concerns before your visit.

Q

Is it okay if it’s my first time?
Yes. Many of our customers are visiting for the first time.
We conduct a thorough consultation before the treatment and adjust the procedure according to your condition that day, so you can relax and feel at ease.

Q

What kind of people use your services?
Our services are used by a wide range of customers of all ages and genders, including those feeling stressed or wanting to give their minds a rest, as well as business owners, self-employed individuals, office workers, homemakers, students, and exam candidates.

Q

Will it hurt?
We do not apply strong pressure.
Some customers prefer a firmer treatment, but at Head Comfort AN, the focus is not just on comfort—we adjust the intensity according to each individual’s condition.
Applying excessive pressure can sometimes have the opposite effect, so we carefully monitor your state during the session. However, if you prefer a firmer touch, we can accommodate that within safe limits.
Please feel free to let us know your preference during the treatment.

Q

Is it okay if I fall asleep during the treatment?
Absolutely. Most of our customers fall asleep within about five minutes of starting the treatment. We aim for a naturally relaxing experience where you can drift off peacefully.

Q

How is this different from other head spas?
Typical head spas are primarily designed to provide a pleasant experience.
At Head Comfort AN, however, we offer a world-first technique that combines acupuncture, lymphatic drainage, and head spa treatments, allowing us to address stress according to each individual’s condition.
Many of our customers report that the deep sense of relaxation can linger as an afterglow for up to approximately 48 hours after the treatment.

Q

What is the difference between the 60, 90, and 120-minute courses?

■ Entry Course – 60 Minutes
“For those who would like to first experience our techniques.”
This course condenses our basic treatment process into a compact session. It is recommended as a trial for first-time visitors.
*Many guests who try this course tell us that “60 minutes passed too quickly and felt a bit short.” For this reason, most customers choose to switch to the more satisfying 90-minute or 120-minute courses from their second visit onward.

■ Signature Course – 90 Minutes
“For those who would like thorough care, especially for areas of fatigue.”
Compared to the 60-minute course, this standard treatment allows ample time for the shampoo, massage, and décolleté care, providing a more fulfilling experience.
You will be able to fully enjoy the sensation of tension melting away throughout your body. However, if you wish to experience the true essence of our treatment — a deep and restorative sleep-like relaxation — many guests ultimately choose our most popular 120-minute course.

■ Comfort Course – 120 Minutes 【Most Popular】
“For those seeking complete relief from daily stress and the deepest level of relaxation.”
This is our signature course with the highest satisfaction rate, and the one most repeat guests eventually choose.
By dedicating generous time to each step of the treatment, our fusion technique of acupuncture-inspired care, lymphatic massage, and myofascial release can reach deep into the body.
Discover for yourself why so many guests say “even 90 minutes wasn’t enough.”

Treatments & Technology

Common questions regarding Head Comfort Anne's treatments and techniques.
Here, we explain our unique approach and how we differ from standard head spas.

Q

Do you use needles since you mention acupuncture?
Head Comfort Anne does not use needles.
Our unique approach incorporates acupuncture techniques and theories, supervised by licensed acupuncturists based on Oriental medicine and herbal principles.
The actual treatment is a manual therapy that fuses acupuncture theory with lymphatic drainage and head spa techniques. It is safe and comfortable for everyone.

Q

Is lymphatic massage included?
Yes.
We take an approach that balances the entire flow, including not only the head but also the neck, shoulders, décolleté, and back.
Additionally, foot massage is available as an option.
Foot massage is highly recommended as it complements the Oriental medicine principle of "Zu-kan Soku-netsu" (Cool Head, Warm Feet).

Q

What does "World's First Technology" mean?
Head Comfort Anne's world-first technology lies in the integration and design of acupuncture techniques and theories, combined with lymphatic drainage and head spa techniques into a single treatment.
The entire process is performed manually, allowing for a personalized approach tailored to each individual's unique condition.

Q

What kind of sensations can I expect?
Many of our clients experience a profound sense of balance, such as a "quieting of the mind," deeper breathing, and clearer vision.
Some clients report that these lingering sensations of well-being can last for up to 48 hours.

Q

Can I feel a difference after just one session?
While many of our clients notice a difference after a single session, individual results may vary.

Q

How long do the effects last?
While results vary depending on lifestyle and physical condition, many of our clients experience a sense of balance for approximately 48 hours after the treatment.
By receiving treatments regularly, this feeling tends to become more stable and long-lasting.

Courses & Visit Frequency

We have compiled frequently asked questions regarding ongoing use, such as choosing the right course and recommended frequency.

Q

Which course do you recommend for the first visit?
For first-time visitors, we recommend the 90-minute Signature Course.
This provides ample time to fully experience the world-first technology of Head Comfort Anne.

Many of our clients visit once or twice a week for the first three sessions—the average number required to release brain stress to a certain extent—and then transition to a pace of once or twice a month.
We also have clients who choose to visit every week to maintain their condition.

Safety & Peace of Mind

These are questions regarding safety, including age requirements and health conditions.

Q

Is there an age limit?
There is no age limit.
We welcome clients of all ages, from 10-year-olds to seniors in their 90s.

Q

Is it okay if I have very short hair or no hair at all?
Absolutely.
Hair length or the presence of hair does not matter at all.
In fact, we have received feedback from clients who noticed positive changes from a hair growth and scalp care perspective.

Q

Can I still have the treatment even if I'm not feeling 100%?
A mild sense of fatigue is not a problem. However, please refrain from the treatment if you have a hangover or are feeling unwell.
If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, please consult your doctor in advance.

Q

Are there any precautions I should take after the treatment?
Please drink plenty of water today.
You can go about your daily routine as usual.

Q

I have had a hair transplant. Can I still receive the treatment?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide our services to clients who have undergone hair transplant procedures.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding regarding our safety policy.

Q

I am pregnant. Can I receive a treatment?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide our services to pregnant clients to ensure the utmost safety for both mother and child.
We appreciate your kind understanding regarding our safety-first policy. We look forward to welcoming you after your delivery.

Q

Will I feel tired or have a headache after the treatment?
Yes, this can happen. This is a temporary physical condition often referred to as a "healing crisis" or detox reaction. It occurs as stagnant blood and lymphatic fluid begin to flow smoothly, flushing out accumulated toxins and waste from your body. Because our authentic wet head spa incorporates lymphatic drainage and myofascial release to target deep tension, individuals with chronic fatigue are more likely to experience this response.

Q

What are the specific symptoms?
Common symptoms may include:
・Sluggishness and strong drowsiness
・Temporary headaches
・A dull ache similar to muscle soreness
・Frequent urination and increased sweating
・Temporary skin breakouts
Please be assured that these are positive signs. They indicate that your body has entered a forced rest and recovery mode, and is actively detoxifying.

Q

What should I do if I experience these symptoms?
To support the detoxification process, please drink plenty of water (room temperature or warm) and rest quietly, avoiding strenuous exercise. Usually, these symptoms naturally subside within 1 to 2 days, leaving your head and body feeling incredibly refreshed and lighter. If symptoms persist for several days or if you have any concerns, please feel free to contact us.
